Week 12. Trade Deadline week for many fantasy football leagues. Second-to-last week of the regular season for many fantasy football leagues. It’s getting tense.
And that’s when you remember you’re playing fantasy football. So have some fun with us and get some fantasy advice heading into the weekend.
During episode number 24 of Prime Time Fantasy Football (We did a bonus podcast Monday!) Adam Gori, Joe Webster and I all talk about everything fantasy-relevant heading into Week 12.
During “High/Low” this week we recap the 12 guys who made a list last week and go over the 12 guys on a list this week, per usual. I have both Keenan Allen and Reggie Bush on a list, but they’re probably not on the one you’d expect. We also discuss Shane Vereen, Isaiah Crowell and Julio Jones, so find out where they fall before plugging them into your lineups.
“Zero to Hero” and “Don’t Buy The Hype” come next, where we contemplate how 12 more guys will perform this week, per usual. Is Colin Kaepernick worth a start this week? What about Michael Floyd? Jonas Gray can’t actually repeat that performance can he? We’ll cover all that and more.
No guest this week, but that’s probably because the beat writer we talked to last week saw his team lose to the Rams. All the other beat writers obviously listened and decided we’re a curse. Nonetheless, we’re about our listeners, so we bring you plenty of value to close out the show.
That value starts with a Trade Deadline Special segment of “Buy Low/Sell High.” Find out whether we’re trading for or trading away LeSean, DeAndre and a bunch of other guys who only have one capital letter in their first name. Next we mention some games that could be affected by weather this weekend, and not just the game in Buffalo where they have SIX FEET of snow. Finally, we play a little “Dig It or Ditch It” with Coby Fleener, Knile Davis, Josh McCown and others.
