Defense is the catalyst to all good things for the Cheltenham boys basketball team. Head coach John Timms just wishes he didn’t have to remind his team of that fact so often.

Ryan Cody had a chance to provide that moment for the North Penn wrestling team Wednesday night.
PHILADELPHIA >> St. Joseph’s Prep running back D’Andre Swift surpassed 4,000 total yards from scrimmage entering Saturday’s PIAA 6A semifinal. Making him the focal point is easy to say, but it’s much harder to execute.
The North Penn defense gave it all they had to do the latter.

WORCESTER >> Turnovers can be the great neutralizer in a football game, even if the more careless team is outplaying its opponent. It can also be the main ingredient of a blowout if the benefiting team capitalizes on its opportunities.
