It’s been quite a ride, not only watching Legion with you but also recapping it. Staying true to form, Legion 1×08 gave us some answers to wrap up season one while also leaving plenty of questions for season two.
About Steve RichardsFirst and foremost, I love anything Philly sports; that includes the Phillies, Sixers, Eagles, Flyers and Union (that’s a soccer team). I’m also a fan of the English Premier League squad Manchester City. In the college ranks, I follow the football, basketball, and baseball teams of both Penn State and the University of Texas. I work for SportsNetworker.com, where I am the COO. I also cover a variety of high school sports for The Reporter and PaPrepLive.com as a freelance writer. On the broadcast journalism side of things I'm a co-host of the Prime Time Fantasy Football and Showcast podcasts on Next Level Radio. You can check that out right here. You'll also find me on Twitter discussing a multitude of things. Feel free to give me a follow over there.

There’s a reason why Legion was renewed for season 2 in the midst of season 1. There’s a reason why the critics with advanced screeners of the show have raved about it. Legion 1×07 is the reason.
PHILADELPHIA >> Plymouth Whitemarsh scratched and clawed its way to a two-point lead with two minutes remaining in its PIAA Class 6A quarterfinal game Sunday afternoon. Then an ugly, old nemesis reappeared.
CHELTENHAM >> Here’s a six-second microcosm of how Taylor O’Brien’s Thursday night went. With her team up just six points and time winding down in the third quarter, Plymouth Whitemarsh’s junior point guard picked up an and-1 to put her team up nine. Then, she stole the ball from Council Rock North and canned a 35-footer as time expired.
Last week we discussed the show-twisting ending to Legion 1×05, suggesting the entire show is in Sydney’s crazy head. In Legion 1×06 we learned it’s not just Sydney’s head. EVERYBODY IN THE DAMN SHOW IS NUTS.
CHELTENHAM >> After a slow first half, Faith Christian came out on fire in the third quarter and flew past Sankofa Freedom 55-27 in its PIAA Class A second round game Thursday night.
When a show’s focal point surrounds a character who is either a mutant or schizophrenic, it’s gonna have some twists and turns along the way. Legion 1×05 decided to pack a bunch of storyline mind[redacted]s in one 66-minute punch.
As we hit the halfway part of season 1, Legion 1×04 took us on a trip, gave us a few answers, and still left us scratching our heads. In other words, it was one of the best episodes of the season so far. The feeling of a weekly acid trip is part of the show’s charm at this point, so we can either accept it or fall into an alternate mind Wednesdays at 10.
PHILADELPHIA>> Faith Christian flew out to a 25-8 first quarter lead and never looked back, cruising over top-seeded Sankofa Freedom 49-35 Tuesday evening.
WARMINSTER>> Pennridge and North Penn are synonymous with wrestling success in the Suburban One League, no matter the conference. Both teams solidified that claim at Saturday’s SOL Continental Championships.
